It was founded in Antwerp, Belgium in 2009 by Raf Maes and Anton Janssens, and is the accessory brand expanding unisex items mainly like watch and eyewear. KOMONO means “small thing” in Japanese, and as the profound meaning and diversity the name has, which implies that the brand would be loved by all. The design concept is “retro & future”. It is characterized by minimal design and original material going along at the time.
